OVERVIEW

At the Church of the Resurrection, we're committed to the conviction that our spiritual life is a journey, one that involves Knowing, Loving and Serving God.  The Journey draws on the totality of who we are:  we use our minds to learn more about God and the Bible, we seek a faith that touches our deepest feelings and loyalties, and we express our commitment more and more through practical acts of loving service.

There are three spiritual practices that are central to our success in this voyage.  To nurture a marriage, we need regular dates, we need times of conversation and sharing, and we need times of listening.  Similarly, to have a close relationship with God, we need a regular worship "date" with God, we need times when we tell God our concerns and offer our praises in prayer, and we need times of listening for God's voice as we read the Bible for ourselves.

Finally, we need to remember that God has a mission for each life.  It is as we find God's calling on us, and answer with a willingness to bless others, that we find the great adventure that God created us for.
