OVERVIEW

An examination of Paul's letter to the Hebrews, written to assure its readers of God’s faithfulness and care as demonstrated through Christ. It was written to exhort them to keep on, a people who had already experienced a certain degree of hardship through persecution (Emperor Claudius’ expulsion of the Jews from Rome in 49 A.D.?) and who were facing it again in the mid-60’s A.D. “Persevere!” it says throughout. “Don’t turn back! Jesus is better than anyone or anything else that you might turn to out of fear or discouragement!! Be faithful!”
