OVERVIEW
The apostle John (portrayed as a vigorous 35-year-old by Rev. Adam Hamilton) explains to the congregation how Mark, Matthew and Luke came to write their "gospels" their stories of Jesus, and the distinctive emphasis that each writer had in the story. Then, with the eagerness of an author, John explains the deeper symbolism that he wove into his own telling of Jesus' story, and shows us how he hoped the story would lead us to share his life-giving faith in Jesus as the Messiah.
