A Special Christmas Eve Offering

Our Christmas Eve Offering will improve the lives of children in poverty – locally and globally.

Locally, you will improve the quality of life and education for children in the neighborhoods surrounding our partner schools.

Examples of your local impact:
• Every Friday, our Backpacks for Hunger ministry provides 1,400 backpacks filled with nutritious food to children who are food deprived over the weekend. Your gift will provide food for an additional 200 children every week who are currently on our waiting list.
• Thousands of children in the Kansas City area sleep on the floor. Our church has already delivered 1,545 beds over the past two years, and your gift will help our volunteers provide more beds for more children.
• Promote literacy by providing books and tutoring programs for children in under-resourced schools whose reading is below grade-level.

Internationally we will continue our investment in children and families in our partner community of Madisi and throughout the country of Malawi.

Examples of your global impact:
• Supply sanitation, hygiene and nutritional training and supplements that will improve and extend the lives of children in remote areas.
• Provide access to education for more than 500 young children through start-up supplies and teaching resources for 10 new preschools in under-resourced communities.
• Deliver vocational and leadership training programs in Malawi to help parents provide their families with the means for a better life.
