Online Giving Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Which payment methods are available?

    Resurrection Access accepts debit card or credit card contributions from Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, and Diner’s Club.

  2. How often will funds be transferred from my account?

    For recurring contributions, Resurrection Access will transfer funds from your account at a frequency that is right for you.  See the table below for your options.

    Contribution processed every week starting on the start date you specify.

    Every Two Weeks

    Contribution processed every two weeks starting on the start date you specify.

    Every Four Weeks

    Contribution processed every four weeks starting on the start date you specify.

    Once a Month

    Contribution processed each month on the same day of the month as the start date you specify.

    Twice a Month

    Contribution processed twice per month, the first payment on any day between the 1st and 15th of the month and the second payment 15 days later or the last day of the month, whichever is earlier.

    Every Three Months

    Contribution processed every three months starting on the start date you specify.

    Every Six Months

    Contribution processed every six months starting on the start date you specify.

    Every year

    Contribution processed each year on the same day of the year as the start date you specify.

  3. Can I test this system by giving one time?

    Yes.  There is an option to give a one-time contribution.  This is a great way to learn how Resurrection Access online giving works.

  4. Will I receive a receipt?

    Yes.  Resurrection Access will e-mail you a receipt for your contribution a few minutes after processing your transaction. Your transactions will appear on your bank or credit card statements as "UMC Resurrection."

  5. How can I get a record of my giving?

    The Resurrection Finance Office mails out giving statements several times per year.  This statement includes your online giving, EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) giving, and any checks put in the offering plate at a physical campus.  To request a statement, please contact the Finance Office at online-giving@cor.org or 913-544-0778.

  6. Is it secure?

    Yes, Resurrection Access uses Payflow Pro, a service of PayPal, to securely process your online donation.  SSL (Secure Sockets Layer), the standard method for encrypting confidential information like credit card numbers, is used throughout the system. Web sites secured by SSL always start with https: instead of http:. Most web browsers display a lock icon when SSL is active. Read more about SSL.

  7. How can I donate to Haiti Emergency Assistance?

    Resurrection Access allows you to designate Haiti Relief when you enter the details of your donation.

  8. How do I participate in the offering at a physical campus if I use Resurrection Access?

    You can participate in the offering by dropping a laminated card available at your seat into the offering plate.

  9. I've setup a recurring contribution through Resurrection Access but would like to make a change or need to cancel. How do I do this?
