Happening Now | All Resurrection Locations

Resurrection is gearing up to launch its fourth kindness campaign this fall, and this year’s theme, Love One Another, comes straight from Jesus’ command to his followers in John 13:34. There will be plenty of ways to live this out together and on your own once the campaign kicks off this fall, but you can start spreading the word now. Beginning Sunday, August 30, Love One Another t-shirts, yard signs, garden flags, and car decals will be available for purchase at all locations, so get yours early and help spread the message.

Trunk or Treat is just around the corner, happening on October 24 and 25. This annual event offers a fun-filled experience for families, featuring games, crafts, and lots of candy. We’re also looking for volunteers to decorate their vehicle trunks and distribute candy. Whether you’d like to volunteer or simply attend with your family, we welcome you to be part of this Resurrection fall tradition.

This year's Meta retreat theme is Faith Over Fear, and fear shows up in more forms than we usually admit. Anxiety, stubbornness, uncertainty, most of us carry some version of it without calling it that. This retreat weekend for 6th through 8th graders looks at how faith in Jesus meets those fears directly, making room for honesty about what scares us and comfort in the middle of it.

Your life is swirling all over the place, not out of control, not in a bad way; there's just a lot going on all at once. Retreat weekends are a chance to reorient and make decisions on how to live a fulfilling life in the middle of everything that is happening. We will look at some stories of how Jesus is in the middle of all of this with us. In fact, Jesus is in the exact center. This can bring us more assurance that we're okay, and possibly, even better than okay.
